We believe that integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into every stage of the investment process is the most effective way to build competitive companies capable of generating additional value for their current and prospective customers.
ESG investments allow us to support entrepreneurs in building solid and ethical businesses, enhancing people, the territory and environmental resources. It is an approach that strengthens financial performance, reduces risk and generates real-scale positive impact.

1. SELECTION / PRE-INVESTMENT
ESG Screening
Preliminary analysis of potential targets to identify risks, opportunities and preventative exclusion of sectors or activities not aligned with ESG principles.
ESG Due diligence
Evaluating and reviewing the target company's ESG practices to identify potential issues, define areas for improvement and support investment decisions.
2. INVESTMENT / POST INVESTMENT
Strategy and Monitoring
After entering the capital, we actively support investee companies in the implementation of our ESG strategy, through a structured process of monitoring, evaluation and objective setting. The process is accompanied by ongoing dialogue with the ESG representative appointed within each investee company.

ESG Performance
Xenon regularly monitors and communicates the ESG results of its portfolio companies, reporting on each company's position against environmental, social and governance objectives.
Three Funds, one common commitment
All our funds integrate ESG factors as a strategic lever to build stronger, more competitive and sustainable businesses. The strategies differ in terms of sectors of reference, amount of invested capital and how ESG criteria are integrated and formalised in the investment process.
Xenon Flagship
Classified as an Article 8 SFDR Fund, it promotes integrated environmental and social characteristics into the decision-making process. The ESG approach is structured across the entire investment cycle: initial due diligence, definition of post-acquisition ESG objectives and final assessment during the exit phase.

Classified as an Article 9 SFDR Fund, with the explicit aim of generating positive impact. It invests in companies active in the energy transition and circular economy, supporting them in defining targeted sustainability plans, continuously monitoring ESG KPIs and certifying results upon exit through quantitative measures of the results achieved.
